PRACTICE FACILITIES
The Vista Valley Country Club features a private, 12-stall, grass practice range with multiple target greens to aim for, two short game practice areas and a large, rolling putting green all exclusively for our golf members and their guests.
The short game practice areas feature a hidden sanctuary with an elevated green to practice blasting from a greenside bunker, and a second green and pitching area winding along the natural river bed terrain of the valley. The areas help you refine your short game skills and give you a perspective of how the course actually plays. These areas resemble similar features and nuances of the actual championship course. Just remember, practice makes perfect!
junior programs
Vista Valley Country Club is very proud of its junior programs, which promote the traditions of golf, interaction among junior golfers, and their families through participation in clinics, camps, intra and inter club tournaments and competition.
In addition to the fundamentals of the game, those involved in the Junior Golf and Tennis Program are taught patience, etiquette and the importance of good sportsmanship. Juniors learn to abide by the rules of the Club, and to respect the privileges afforded to them by their participation in the program. The Junior Golf summer camps offer 3 day plans, 10:00AM- 2: 00PM June through August. (Please see inquire with Pro Shop for more information regarding dates of camps) All Skill levels are welcome, and we feature, instruction, on and off course etiquette, on course play rules, and mixed games and a possible opportunity to fish in our lakes. Each camp features lunch daily for the juniors. Camp necessities are golf clubs and fishing pole if you have them. We also require proper golf attire, appropriate shoes (closed sneakers) hats or visors and sun screen. All groups are divided by age and skill level. All camp participants must have parental consent forms to participate prior to start date of camp.
