Golf Course Attire Guidelines

The Dress Code standards for Vista Valley Country Club are in place to ensure the level of enjoyment you receive while visiting. Our Staff is here to answer any questions you have about the dress code and they have been directed to gently remind those who accidentally forget or are uninformed of the standards.

We hope that the following guidelines will assist you in making your time spent at the Club as comfortable and pleasurable as possible.
DRESS CODE (Gentlemen):
Acceptable attire for men are sport shirts or golf shirts with sleeves and raised collars or turtleneck collars. Mock turtlenecks are permitted (“band/collar” must be 1.5” or higher). Shirts must be tucked into slacks or shorts at all times. “Camp Style” button down shirts, and Tommy Bahama style button down shirts may be worn un-tucked.

Men may wear Bermuda shorts, plus fours (knickers) or slacks. Shorts or slacks must be of traditional, conservative tailoring. Men’s shorts must be no shorter than 4” above the middle of the knee or feature an inseam length not past the kneecap. Cargo shorts and cargo pants are acceptable attire, subject to the aforementioned inseam requirements. Caps must be worn “bill” forward at all times.
DRESS CODE (Ladies ):
Acceptable attire for ladies are Tailored slacks, skirts, and shorts in good taste. The WSCGA recommends shorts no shorter than 4" from the center of the back of the knee.

Tennis attire, halter, strapless or tank tops, and denim are not considered proper golf attire.
